Product Description

The unleashed reign of NVIDIA Ada Lovelace architecture just got cooler. The ROG Strix LC GeForce RTX™ 4090 channels the power of liquid cooling to unlock the GPU’s full potential and then some, delivering quiet thermal performance that blows air-cooled designs out of the water.

Based on the Ada Lovelace architecture and designed to handle the graphical demands of 8K gaming and high frame rates, the ASUS GeForce RTX 4090 Republic of Gamers Strix OC Graphics Card LIQUID COOLED EDITION brings the power of real-time ray tracing and AI to your PC games. The GPU features 24GB of GDDR6X VRAM and a 384-bit memory interface, offering improved performance and power efficiency over the previous Ampere-based generation.The front panel of the card features a variety of outputs, such as DisplayPort 1.4a and HDMI 2.1. HDMI 2.1 supports up to 48 Gb/s bandwidth and a range of higher resolutions and refresh rates, including 8K @ 60 fps, 4K @ 120 fps, and even up to 10K. The RTX 4090 is not just about high-resolution gaming. Computationally intensive programs can utilize the GPU's 16384 cores to accelerate tasks using CUDA and other APIs. For cooling, ASUS implemented a triple Axial Tech fans for up to 23% more airflow. There is also ASUS Aura Sync RGB lighting support.

GPU heat is transported to a 240 mm radiator, freeing up PCIe slot space and offering compatibility with a wide variety of chassis for your build.

Cooling

A custom-designed cold plate extends over the GPU die and the onboard GDDR6x memory, bringing the full benefits of liquid cooling to the components most responsible for raw performance.

Heat produced by power delivery components is quietly dispelled by a blower style fan and a low profile heatsink under the shroud.

The 240mm radiator is cooled by two powerful 120mm aRGB fans that are optimized for high airflow and static pressure.

Compatibility with Long Tubing

The ROG Strix LC leverages 560 mm tubing to enable compatibility with larger chassis or builds that feature an AIO CPU cooler. The radiator fan cables are housed in the tubing’s mesh lining and come pre-connected to the card, streamlining setup and cable management.

Premium PCB Components

Top-shelf capacitors, chokes and MOSFETS are selected to effortlessly deliver hundreds of watts at a millisecond's notice. The Super Alloy Power II parts are soldered to the PCB using Asus' advanced Auto-Extreme automated manufacturing process. Smooth joints on the rear of the PCB and the elimination of human error ensured each graphics card meets rigorous specifications.

The rear of the card sports two PWM FanConnect headers that provide additional DIY flexibility. Chassis fans can be directly attached to the card and tuned with a curve the is based on CPU and GPU temperatures, providing extra intake or exhaust for demanding 3D tasks.

Reinforcements

A GPU bracket provides extra stability to the critical connection between die and heat spreader. The rear I/O bracket is made from stainless steel to prevent corrosion in humid climates and provide a more resilient mount. A conveniently placed Dual BIOS switch allows customization of the card’s default performance profile without software.

Power Sensing

Know if your PSU is worthy. ROG Strix LC GeForce RTX™ 4090 graphics cards feature a high-speed circuit that constantly monitors input power from the PSU and utilizes conveniently placed LEDs to indicate voltage regulation issues and cable connection problems.

Auto-Extreme Technology

Auto-Extreme Technology is an automated manufacturing process that sets new standards in the industry by allowing all soldering to be completed in a single pass. This reduces thermal strain on components and avoids the use of harsh cleaning chemicals, resulting in less environmental impact, lower manufacturing power consumption and a more reliable product overall.
